A New Vision for Salt Lake City

This is Utah’s capital city and it belongs to everyone. Downtown Rising is a progressive, evolving vision for the future of our community. This vision includes character districts, signature projects and shared ideas about shaping the future of Salt Lake City. In 2007, Downtown Rising was unveiled as a community led effort that defined priorities and projects to help shape the future downtown. Business, political and community leaders have continued to pursue Downtown Rising, implementing this shared vision for the future of Utah’s Capital City.

Highlights of the Downtown Rising vision include Character Districts and Signature Projects that will define and shape Salt Lake City’s development.
